Day 0: RRIVE PARO / THIMPU
Arrive Paro by international flight. Assistance upon arrival & transfer to Thimpu (60 Kms /02 hrs drive) & check in at the hotel.
Thimphu is the capital town of Bhutan and the center of government, religion and commerce, Thimphu is a unique city with unusual mixture of modern development alongside ancient traditions. Although not what one expects from a capital city, Thimphu is still a fitting and lively place. Home to civil servants, expatriates and monk body, Thimphu maintains a strong national character in its architectural style. On arrival in Thimphu, Check in at the hotel.

Day 02: IN THIMPHU
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a morning tour of Thimphu by visiting Tashichho Dzong, Kuensel Phodrang, Motithang Takin Preserve, Semtokha Dzong, Thangthong Dewachen Nunnery.
Afternoon: visit Memorial Chorten – the Stupa built in 1974 in the memory of late King Jigme Dorji Wangchuk. The paintings and images inside the monument provide a rare sight into Buddhist philosophy.

Day 03: THIMPU / PUNAKHA
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Punakha via Dochula Pass (90 Km / 3 hrs drive) the valley, which lies amidst snow-capped mountain peaks, served as capital of Bhutan until 1955. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel.
Afternoon: Visit Chimi Lhakhang & Punakha Dzong,
Chimi Lhakhang This temple was built in 1499 by Drukpa Kinley’s best follower. Drukpa Kinley is popularly known as “Devine Mad Man” of which his teaching is through sex. Your local guide will explain in detail when you reach there.

Day 04: PUNAKHA / PARO
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Paro (130 kms/4 hrs drive). Upon arrival, check in at the hotel.
Afternoon: Visit Rimpung Dzhong: Is probably Bhutan’s best known and most iconic Dzhong. This is probably the first building you will notice when you land at Paro International Airportand will probably be your first memory of Bhutan. The imposing Dzhong is perhaps the finest example of Dzhong architecture existing the world today, the massive buttered walls of the fortress dominates over the valley.The Rinpung Dzhong’s names translates to the “Fortress on a heap of Jewels
Overnight in Paro
Day 05: IN PARO
After breakfast at the hotel proceed to visit Taktsang Monastery, also known as ‘Tiger’s Nest’. Hanging precariously and magically from a rather steep cliff, the Taktshang monastery is a monument of genuine pride for the Bhutanese nation. It defies architectural principles to the core and amazes tourists from around the world. It is a sight to behold.it is widely regarded is one of the most important monuments ofspiritual significance in Bhutan. Its history is deeply associated with the visit of Guru Padmasambhava, the revered Indian saint who came to Bhutan in the 8th century AD.
Later visit Kyichu Lhakhang: The Jowo Temple of Kyichu is one of the oldest temples in Bhutan. The temple was built by the Tibetan King Songsten Gampo in the 7th Century AD. The Kyichu Lhakhang was one of the 108 temples constructed by him to subdue a demon that was terrorizing the people of the Himalayas.

Day 06: PARO / DEPART
After breakfast at the hotel transfer to the Airport to board a flight for onward destination.
