Brief Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1300m), receive by our officer and transfer to Hotel. O/n at Hotel
Day 02: Breakfast in the hotel. Drive to Pokhara (823m) and stroll around Lakeside in the evening. O/n at Hotel
Day 03: Early breakfast and drive to Nayapul (1070m), the trek starting point and commence trek to Tikhedhunga (2050m) – 1 hr drive & 4 hrs trek. O/n at Lodge
Day 04: Trekking, Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2750m) – 5 hrs trek. O/n at Lodge
Day 05: Very early morning wake up and hike to Poonhill (3210m) to view mesmerizing sunrise view along with Annapurna Himalaya ranges. Then come back to lodge and take breakfast then continue trek to Tadapani (2700m) – 5 hrs trek. O/n at Lodge
Day 06: Trekking, Tadapani to Chhomrong (2170m) – 6 hrs trek. O/n at Lodge
Day 07: Trekking, Chhomrong to Himalaya (2920m) – 6 hrs trek. O/n at Lodge
Day 08: Trekking, Himalaya to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m) & explore around base camp – 6 hrs trek. O/n at Lodge
Day 09: Trek back from ABC to Bamboo (2130m) – 6 hrs trek. O/n at Lodge
Day 10: Trekking, Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (1760m) – 5 hrs trek. O/n at Lodge
Day 11: Trekking, Jhinu Danda to Ghandruk (1940m) – 5 hrs trek. O/n at Lodge
Day 12: Trekking, Ghandruk to Nayapul & drive to Pokhara. Relax & enjoy on your own. O/n at Hotel
Day 13: Fly back to Kathmandu in the morning. Rest day at leisure for shopping or relaxation on your own. O/n at Hotel.
Day 14: Departure to the airport for your flight back to home.
Detail Program Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu 1,300m
After a breathtaking Himalayan flight to Kathmandu, upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), you will be warmly greeted by our representative who will also escort you to your Hotel. After check in and refreshment, there will be a briefing session by our tour consultant and the rest of the day is at your leisure to rest or explore the sights of the valley. Overnight at Hotel
Day 02: Kathmandu to Pokhara (823m): 6 hrs drive
We take an early morning tourist bus to Pokhara which is an enchanting city dotted by numerous lake stopping en-route for lunch. The 6 hours scenic drive is includes views of mountains like Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhre, five peaks of Annapurna and other Himalayan peaks. An evening stroll alongside the Lakeside city can be a thrilling experience. Overnight at Hotel
Day 03: Drive, Pokhara – Nayapul (1070 m) and trek to Tikhedhunga or Ulleri [2050m]: 1 hr drive and 4 or 6 hrs trek
After a hearty breakfast early morning, we drive to Nayapul which is the start point of our trek. From here you start to walk through sub tropical valley forests, sometimes on the carved trail on the side of the cliff and follow the south bank of the river. We stop by for lunch after which we cross the Modi Khola (river) via a suspension bridge to the village of Tikhedhunga, here we may take halt overnight as well if you feel tired or depending upon time situation. If time permits & depending your fitness, we may further trek along the quite steep trail at time to reach Ulleri by late afternoon for overnight stay. Overnight at Lodge
Day 04: Trekking, Ulleri or Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2750m): 4 – 6 hrs trek
After breakfast we ascend to the village of Ghorepani. Ghorepani in Nepali means ‘horse-water’ owing to its role as an important campsite for traders before it became a trekker’s stop. At Ghorepani we can find small retail shops which sell variety of local products and craft. We make a stop at the higher portion of the Ghorepani village so that one can enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding mountains including Annapurna South and Nilgiri mountains. One should be prepared for the chilly evening out here. Overnight at Mountain lodge
Day 05: Trekking, Ghorepani – Poon Hill – Tadapani (2700m): 5 – 6 hrs trek
From Ghorepani we head to Poon Hill (3210 m) – an icon of the Annapurna’s making an early climb in order to catch one of the most awesome sunrises. Beside this we also get panoramic views of Mustang, Pokhara valley including close up views of more than 20 highest mountains including Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. After taking photos and having some refreshments, we return back to Ghorepani.
After a hearty breakfast, we head east to climb a nearby ridge and then descend through rhododendron forests, and spectacular waterfalls to reach Tadapani. Overnight at Mountain Lodge
Day 06: Trekking, Tadapani to Chhomrong (2170m): 6 hrs trek
After breakfast we descend downhill through dense forest growth to the village of Chuile and the Kimrong Khola (river) after which we start climbing to Chhomrong which is a incredible location right on the lap of the Annapurnas with close up views of the Annapurna south with the Fishtail facing it across the valley. Overnight at Mountain Lodge.
Day 07: Trekking, Chhomrong to Himalaya (2920m): 6 hrs trek
After a hearty breakfast we walk along the banks of the Modi Khola, slowly climbing through wooded areas up to Sinuwa Danda. From Sinuwa Danda we walk through wooded rhododendron forests and bamboo forest finally reaching Bamboo where we take lunch. Continue trek following the river through bamboo, oak and rhododendron forests up the canyon, crossing two streams and small bridges finally reaching Himalaya. Overnight at Mountain lodge
Day 08: Trek, Himalaya to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m): 6 hrs trek
After breakfast we begin our hike to MBC, Machhapuchre base camp (3700m) through a trail on the river bed that gently slopes upwards to rise steeply up the mountain. One must be careful of some avalanche prone areas in between MBC and Deurali. It’s a tough and strenuous hike but is compensated by the majesty of the Himalayas. Lunch at MBC. Then we lead further short hike to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC). The trial following the vegetation gradually disappears and we encounter numerous snow boulders melting to form streams. The path gradually widens as we enter the legendary Annapurna sanctuary with panoramic 360 degree view of Machhapuchhare, Annapurna south, Annapurna I, Hiuchuli and other peaks. Day 09: Trek, Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo (2310m): 6 hrs trek
After an early morning tea/breakfast with the awe inspiring sunrise over the Himalayas we are ready to leave for Bamboo. Our hike is a gradual drop through various geographical features and fantastic views of Fishtail and Hiunchuli mountains. Overnight at Lodge
Day 10: Trek, Bamboo to Jhinu Dada (1760m): 5 hrs trek
From bamboo we descend to Jhinu Danda diverging from Chhomrong. Jhinu Danda has some great hot springs in which we can rejuvenate ourselves with a long soak in the hot water. Overnight at Mountain lodge
Day 11: Trek, Jhinu Dada to Ghandrung (1940m): 5 hrs trek
Today having breakfast in the lodge, we begin final step to trek region with descending to small stream and gradually ascend with small stone staircase with zigzag uphill following the terrace fields. The view of Jhinu Danda & Chhomrong village will be eye catching from the top of small settlement at its ridge. The trail further follow gradual ups & downs through dense Rhododendron forest with a great view ahead of Landruk & Ghandruk Village. Ghandruk village is also known as Konda village as per local language which means stone. You can visit old traditional Gurung Museum & Buddhist Monastery in the village. Overnight at Lodge.
Day 12: Trek, Ghandrung to Nayapul & Drive to Pokhara: 4 hrs trek 1 hr drive
Our last day on the trek takes us through descending stone staircase to Syauli bazaar and again following dusty road alongside Modi Khola to Birethanti before finally arriving at Nayapul, where our car will be waiting to drive us back to the wonderful home comforts of your hotel in Pokhara. The rest of the day can be spent at leisure and maybe you can take a stroll at lakeside and catch up on the modern world. Overnight at Hotel
Day 13: Drive, Pokhara to Kathmandu: 6 hrs drive
Morning after breakfast, you can stroll around Lakeside or visit any monuments in Pokhara if you wish. We will then leave Pokhara driving towards Kathmandu.
On arrival at Kathmandu, you will be escorted by our representative to the Hotel. The rest of the afternoon is at your leisure to catch up on some last-minute shopping or stroll down the capital city Kathmandu. Overnight at Hotel
Day 14: Final Departure
The finale of our journey and we are reluctant to see you go! However our representative will drop you to the airport or if you are interested you can extend your trip by taking another interesting trek, tour or extensions to Tibet, Bhutan or Sikkim, all you need to do is simply ask us!
