Day 01: ARRIVE KATHMANDU
Arrive Kathmandu by an international flight. Assistance upon arrival & transfer to the hotel.
Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal and the Kathmandu Valley is the political and cultural hub of the Kingdom. Founded in the 8th century AD by King Gun Kamadeva at the confluence of the Bagmati and Bishnumati rivers, the founding point is the Kashta (wood) Mandap (temple) built where two old trade routes crossed, and now the oldest building in the city. The Europhile first minister of Kathmandu in the 19th century, Jung Bahadur Rana, built many classical looking buildings and palaces in the city, in contrast to those of Newari style that existed before. The urban sprawl that makes up modern Kathmandu is in fact two cities, Pathan and Kathmandu.

Day 02: IN KATHMANDU
After leisure breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full day city tour of Kathmandu visiting Pashupatinath temple, Boudhanath & Swayambunath.
Pashupatinath is one of the most significant Hindu temples of Shiva in the world, located on the banks of the Bagmati River in the eastern part of Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. The temple serves as the seat of the national deity, Lord Pashupatinath. The temple is listed in UNESCO World Heritage Sites list.
Later visit Boudhanath. The Buddhist stupa of Boudhanath dominates the skyline. The ancient Stupa is one of the largest in the world. The influx of large populations of refugees from Tibet has seen the construction of over 50 Tibetan Gompas (Monasteries) around Boudhanath. The Stupa is on the ancient trade route from Tibet which enters the Kathmandu Valley by the village of Sankhu in the northeast corner.
Also visit Swayambunath is an ancient religious complex atop a hill in the Kathmandu Valley, west of Kathmandu city. It is also known as the Monkey Temple as there are holy monkeys living in the north-west parts of the temple.
Also visit Kathmandu Durbar Square.

Day 03: KATHMANDU / POKHARA
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer Pokhara (200 kms / 4-5 hrs). Upon arrival, check in at the hotel.
Pokhara is a city on Phewa Lake, in central Nepal. It’s known as a gateway to the Annapurna Circuit, a popular trail in the Himalayas. Tal Barahi Temple, a 2-story pagoda, sits on an island in the lake.
Rest of the day free at leisure.
Overnight in Pokhara
Day 04: IN POKHARA
Early morning transfer to Sarangkot (the famous tourist hill station) for sunrise view with incredible Annapurna & Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. After spending some time there, drive back to Hotel for breakfast.
Later proceed to take boat ride & cross Phewa Lake and hike to world peace stupa (2 hrs), visit around world peace stupa. After the visit, drive back and proceed for a tour of Pokhara Valley – David’s Fall, Gupteswor Mahadev Cave, Bindabasini Temple, K. I. Singh Bridge and Barahi Temple.

Day 05: POKHARA / CHITWAN
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Chitwan (160 kms / 4 hrs). Upon arrival, check in at the hotel.
Chitwan is one of Asia’s premier wildlife reserves. Its 360 square miles of tall grasslands and forests are home to a wide variety of mammals and birds, including several endangered species.
After lunch: proceed for a village walk to experience the culture & lifestyle of local ethnic inhabitants from Tharu community.
Dinner & overnight in Chitwan
Day 06: IN CHITWAN
Morning breakfast at the hotel.
Enjoy Jungle observation at Chitwan National park. The highlight being the Elephant Safari in the jungles Other activities are Canoeing, Dugout canoe, Nature Walk and Bird Watching & Elephant Breeding Centre.
Dinner & overnight in Chitwan
Day 07: CHITWAN / KATHMANDU
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Kathmandu (170 Kms / 07 hrs drive). Upon arrival, check in at the hotel.
Overnight in Kathmandu
Day 08: KATHMANDU / DEPART
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Kathmandu airport time to board flight for onward destination.
