Heritage Tour – Karnatka
Day 01: ARRIVE BANGALORE
Arrive at Bangalore Airport, our representative will receive you and transfer to a Hotel.
Later proceed on a half-day city tour, visit to Iskcon temple – the Krishna Temple is a blend of Modern technology and spiritual harmony, Lalbagh – 240 acres of beautifully sculpted gardens, flowers abound, rare collection of tropical and sub-tropical plants, Vidhana Soudha – this massive building houses the state Legislature and the Secretariat, Bull Temple-Dravidian –Style temple, has a huge monolithic bull is the vahana of Lord Shiva and return to Hotel.

Day 02: BANGALORE / MYSORE
After breakfast, drive to Mysore (140Kms/3 hrs.), and en route visit Srirangapatna Temple. On arrival, check in at the Hotel.
Mysore- Known for its magnificent palaces and majestic buildings, sprawling gardens and tree lined boulevards, shimmering silks and sandalwood, the ‘City Royale’ always figures in the tourist’s itinerary. Srirangapatna – Island fortress of Tippu Sultan. Visit Tippu’s summer Palace, Mosque, and Srirangapatna Temple. In the evening visit Chamundi Hill – perched atop a hill-the 4.8m tall monolith of Nandi and the gigantic Mahishasura statue are added attractions. Maharaja Palace – the palace is a splendid structure in the Indo-Saracenic Style, among its many attractions are a magnificent gold throne displayed during the Dasara celebrations, Later visit Brindavan Garden – the Krishna Raja Sagar Dam after sundown, when musical fountains and colored lights transform this place into a magical fairyland.

Day 03: MYSORE / HASSAN
After breakfast, drive to Hassan (120Kms/ 3hrs), en route visit Shravanabelagola – The monolithic statue of Lord Gomateshwara, a Jain saint and an object of worship for centuries, standing atop one of the hills. On arrival, check in at the Hotel.
In the afternoon, visit Belur – The most photographed and perhaps the best and they are a must on every tourist’s temple itinerary and Halebid – the temple, perched on a star-shaped base amidst lawns, is a sculptural extravaganza.

Day 04: HASSAN / HAMPI
After early breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Hampi by car (330 kms / 8-9 hrs drive). Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. Hampi was the capital of the Hindu Empire Vijayanagar, who ruled the south India between 14th to 16th centuries AD. The ruins of Hampi, as it is known today, are a vast open museum of history, architecture and religion. Spread over an area of more than 25 square kilometers (10 square miles), Hampi ruins is packed with giant temples, palaces, market streets, aquatic structures, fortifications and an abundance of other ancient monuments. Today, Hampi is listed as one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Day 05: IN HAMPI
After leisure breakfast at the hotel, proceed for the City tour of Hampi, visiting glorious Empire of Vijayanagar by commencing our tour from Hampi’s main bazaar, from here you can explore the whole area. Visit the temples or gaze at the rocky landscape with its winding river where you can find an alienationing sight of locals doing their laundry and then all of a sudden, in the middle of nowhere, the ruins of the World Heritage Vittala Temple Complex with its famous stone chariot, many pillars and lovely smelling jasmine trees.

Day 06: HAMPI / AIHOLE / PATTADAKAL / BADAMI
After breakfast at the hotel, leave for Badami by car (180 kms / 5-hrs drive) en route visiting Aihole (12 kms from Badami) and Pattadakal (20 kms from Pattadakal).
Aihole – located on the banks of the Malaprabha River, the village of Aihole in Karnataka is a veritable mélange of ancient Hindu temple architecture. The cluster of temples belongs to two ages, first in the 6th and 7th centuries and the second set of temples belonging to the 12th and 13th centuries.
The picturesque village of Pattadakal is a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its ancient temple complex. The second capital of the Chalukya dynasty after Aihole, Pattadakal’s magnificent 8th-century temples epitomize the zenith of Chalukyan architecture. The impressive temple structures of Pattadakal are a confluence of the North Indian and South Indian temple architecture styles. At the entrance of the site, you can see the 8th century temples
Later drive on to Badami and on arrival, check-in at the hotel.
Badami is picturesquely situated between hills. Badami is famous for its four cave temples – all hewn out of sand stone on the precipice of a hill

Day 07: BADAMI / GOA
After breakfast, transfer to Goa by car (260 kms / 6-7 hrs drive). Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. Goa is India’s smallest state by area and the fourth smallest by population. Located in South West India in the region known as the Konkan, it is bounded by the state of Maharashtra to the north and by Karnataka to the east and south, while the Arabian Sea forms its western coast. Goa is India’s richest state with a GDP per capita two and a half times that of the country as a whole. It was ranked the best placed state by the Eleventh Finance Commission for its infrastructure and ranked on top for the best quality of life in India by the National Commission on Population based on the 12 Indicators. Renowned for its beaches, places of worship and world heritage architecture, Goa is visited by large numbers of international and domestic tourists each year. It also has rich flora and fauna, owing to its location on the Western Ghats range, which is classified as a biodiversity hotspot.

Day 08: IN GOA
After breakfast, take a sightseeing tour of Old Goa 10 km from Panjim, the basilica of Bom Jesus, and the 16th century church dedicated to infant Jesus and enshrining the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier, is one of the most important sight of Goa. The other Churches in the same area are St. Cathedral, with its vaulted interior, Church of our Lady of Rosary and Nunnery of St. Monica. The Aguada Fort built by the Portuguese commands the mouth of the Mondovi River and houses a lighthouse.

Day 09: IN GOA
After breakfast rest of the day is free to explore the beaches of Goa, visiting visit the famous beaches of Goa like Anjuna Beach, Colva Beach & Calangute Beach.

Day 10: GOA / MUMBAI
Morning: Free till departure, later transfer to airport in time to board flight for Mumbai.
